TOTOR: Jane DATES AVAILABLE: Sunday 22nd May / 10:00 - 13:30 / £40 Saturday 6th August / 10:00 - 13:30 / £40 ABOUT THIS CLASS: This workshop is aimed at beginners or those who have a basic knowledge of dry needle felting and would love to further their skills. During the workshop you will be able to choose your own designs and colourway for your decoration however there will be various designs and examples available to provide inspiration. The skills and techniques you acquire in the class will allow you to make your very own decoration within the workshop as well as give you the confidence to continue the craft at home. THE TOPICS WE AIM TO COVER ARE: Introduction to needle felting, various wools, specialist needles & felting pads used How to create a shape from carded wool using a template. How to attach shapes together How to apply decoration to a shape Which needles to use for various tasks i.e. size and shape How to create a felt ball MATERIALS NEEDED: All the materials and specialised needles to make your decoration will be supplied; you will also be able to take your needles home with you. REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and delicious cake are included in your lesson.
