TUTOR: Jane DATES AVAILABLE: Wednesday 27th October: 18.00-21.30pm / Price: £40 ABOUT THIS CLASS: Have you ever wanted to learn to felt? Do you love making decorations for your home or as gifts? Then this is the class for you? This workshop is aimed at beginners or those who have a basic knowledge of dry needle felting and would love to further their skills. During this workshop you will acquire the skills and techniques to make your very own winter penguin which you can choose to display on a sleigh or a wooden plinth. By the end of this class you will leave with the skills and techniques to continue the craft at home where you may choose to make a whole family of penguins! They make great decorations and are perfect for gifts. THE TOPICS WE AIM TO COVER ARE: How to create a small 3D core shape freehand How to apply a topcoat to a core shape Which needles to use for various tasks i.e. size and shape MATERIALS NEEDED: All the materials and specialised needles to make your penguin will be supplied; you will also be able to take your needles home with you. REFRESHMENTS: Tea, coffee and delicious cake are included in your lesson.
